Questions, answered
Do credits expire?
Credits from a pack never expire and carry over. The free trial credits are different: they end with the 14-day trial if you have not bought a pack (see the trial question below). A pack is metered in credits — five credits per minute of connected time, so a 500-minute pack is 2,500 credits. Buy a pack when you need one; there is no subscription and nothing to cancel.
How are credits counted?
Five credits per minute of connected time, rounded up to the next full minute as reported by the carrier. Browser test calls use your credits too, at three credits per minute, and we hold 15 credits while one runs. The moment your line answers, we hold a small reserve (75 credits), then settle the exact amount used when the call ends and release whatever wasn’t used.
What happens if my balance runs out?
Inbound calls play a short recorded message saying the line is temporarily out of calling credit, then end. Outbound calls that can't be funded are skipped. Top up, then call the lead again. We alert your team on WhatsApp (with SMS and email fallback) once your balance drops below 300 credits, well before it reaches zero.
When do I go through verification (KYC), and how long does it take?
After you have built and tested your agent in the browser. Upload your identity and business documents from the dashboard; we review them and submit the carrier paperwork, typically within one business day. Your number is issued and wired automatically the moment you are approved, and you can keep testing in the browser while you wait.
Can I pay in INR?
Yes. Organizations registered in India are billed in rupees and pay through PayU — UPI, cards and net banking. Everyone outside India pays in US dollars through Stripe with card payments. Minutes are identical either way.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, within 14 days of buying a pack: a pack you have not started is refunded in full, and the unused credits of a partly used pack are refunded pro rata. See our Refund and cancellation policy, or email hello@propgent.io to ask.
Is there a free plan or trial?
Yes. Signing up is free and needs no card. Every new account gets a 14-day trial with 300 credits, so you can build your agent and test it in the browser (three credits per minute). If you have not bought a pack when the 14 days end, the credits left from the trial are removed. You buy a pack when you are ready to put a number live.
Can I keep my existing phone number?
Yes. Forward your existing line to your Propgent number and every call is answered by your agent. Your callers still dial the number they know.
